Thanks to your support
with the successful sale of our 2022 HORIZONT collection
we were able to financially support Jutta Speidel's foundation for mothers in need and their children
financially once again.
This time, the money will go to the HORIZONT workshops.
From the sale of our special praline selections and Advent calendars
with the artwork of the HORIZONT children, we were able to donate a total of
a total of 4,159.17 euros this year.
After the donations of the last few years were mainly invested in the extensive vacation program
of the HORIZONT House Domagkpark, this year an important piece of hardware was purchased:
a new kiln for the workshops.

Help for women in need and their children
If you are not yet familiar with the project, HORIZONT e.V. is committed to giving women and children who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own not only a home, but a real perspective; to accompany them step by step back into life.
With their two homes and carefully curated cultural and educational programs in Munich, Jutta Speidel and her colleagues not only provide acute help, they also cover all the phases that a homeless mother and her children go through to find a dignified place in society.

Being creative together
Joint leisure activities are an important part of daily life in the homes of the HORIZONT Foundation founded by Jutta Speidel, even during school hours. The residents' children can take part in courses and open activities together with kids from the neighborhood. There is always something going on in the workshops, for example, where the children and young people can work with clay and create their own works of art. For firing and glazing, a small kiln is now being purchased from our donation at HORIZONT-Haus Domagkpark so that even a small number of "smaller" works can be fired.

Advent calendars, treasure chests, castle bites - confectionery art with a cause
To mark the 25th anniversary of the association and foundation, Lauenstein Confiserie has relaunched and expanded its HORIZONT range. The elegant HORIZONT wooden treasure boxes, each containing 200 or 400 grams of alcohol-free praline art, have now been joined by an Advent calendar and a colorful Burghappen collection. While the newly designed treasure box is adorned with a radiant rainbow motif, the Lauensteiner HORIZONT Burghappen are now available with all eight motifs from previous years. The artistic packaging conceals 25 grams of the finest Gianduja nougat with crisp in milk chocolate.The new HORIZONT Advent calendar is also a particularly meaningful gift, especially in the run-up to Christmas: 24 children from the organization's homes have immortalized themselves on the little doors. Behind each one is an alcohol-free and handmade treasure of truffles or chocolates.
