at home
Sweet happiness has many facets. Are you ready? The sweet crunch reveals the delicious contents of our chocolates and provides a taste experience you will never forget.
In this post:
Make yourself comfortable!
In this post, we would like to inspire you with a few nut creations for the fall. Nuts are always delicious, but now is the season and they taste even better with colorful leaves, fog in the morning and a cozy blanket.
A nut nougat hot chocolate is the perfect accompaniment.
October has been wonderful to us so far and has somewhat made up for the sometimes gloomy summer. But it's slowly becoming clear that it's already mid-October.
It gets dark quite early in the evening. In the mornings, the fog lingers in the valleys and the temperatures are rather autumnal. It's clearly time to make ourselves comfortable indoors.
What better way to do this than with sweet treats from and with Lauenstein.

Nut nougat hot chocolate and pralines from Lauenstein
Ingredients for two cups:
- 100 g dark nougat chocolate (from Lauenstein)
- 375 ml milk
- 2 tsp good dark cocoa (liquid)
- Sugar only to taste, the chocolate already provides enough sweetness
- 100 g cream for whipping
Preparation:
- While you bring the chocolate to the boil in the pan, you can chop the chocolate.
- Then stir the chocolate into the hot milk and melt on the lowest setting.
- Only when everything has melted and combined do you add the cocoa.
- Then whip the cream and serve. For the deluxe version on a Sunday afternoon, add the nut liqueur.
Normal hot chocolate always works in fall and winter, of course, but this nut nougat chocolate is even more special. In addition to good cocoa powder, we melt the dark nougat chocolate from Lauenstein in the milk and if you like it really unusual, add a dash of nut liqueur when serving. This is the deluxe version for an evening in front of the fireplace. Otherwise, top with whipped cream and some dark cocoa powder. Even if it's a little more time-consuming to prepare in a pot than in the microwave, it's definitely worth it. Everything combines better and the temperature is more ideal.
From the nut and brittle category, Lauenstein also offers the fantastic castle bars with whole almonds or hazelnuts, the nougat and nut or nut and brittle selection. Nothing stands in the way of a cozy day on the sofa when it's raining outside and coziness inside.
With this in mind, we hope we have inspired you again.
