Honor to whom honor is due:
Sweet appreciation for the managers (m/f/d) of the family.Need some inspiration? We present a few hearty creations from our manufactory and even have a little DIY craft idea and a delicious Mother's Day cake for your coffee table.
In this post:

Mothers, fathers, relatives and friends; single parents or in a team, as a small unit or a large patchwork. Families are complex structures - regardless of the constellation.
If everything is to run smoothly in everyday life, it takes a lot of love and commitment, usually from several people involved.
So it makes sense to say thank you from time to time.
Just those little words 'thank you', perhaps paired with a little time and attention, can make a huge difference.
And not just when things are going wrong at home or a crisis has just been overcome. Honestly, it can be the start of really good conversations or a reason to simply get in touch with each other again.
Connection - does it need a Mother's or Father's Day?
Well, of course this 'study' is not reliable, but a quick survey of our team has resulted in a clear NO...and YES: every day is actually the right day. But somehow yes, because sometimes we do need a fixed entry in the calendar to get us out of our daily grind and into action.
And then? Mindfulness is required.
Even if there isn't enough time (and/or money) for a grand gesture, small messages of appreciation always work. A handwritten letter, a loving message behind the windshield wiper or perhaps a flower or chocolate greeting - the important thing is that we think about what really makes the recipient happy.Raspberry wrap cake

Chocolate sponge cake:
- 4 eggs
- 100 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 g spelt flour
- 2 tbsp baking cocoa
Raspberry skyr cream:
- 500 g skyr
- 90 g powdered sugar
- 400 ml cream
- 2 packs of whipped cream stabilizer
- 200 g frozen raspberries
- 5 tsp sugar
- 2 sheets of gelatine
Topping & drip:
- Ruby chocolate chips
- 2 packs of cookies
- fresh raspberries
- pralines
Preparation of the batter:
Weigh and prepare all the ingredients.First, beat the eggs together with the sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt for approx. 8-10 minutes until frothy.
The volume should double and the cream will be nicely light and frothy.
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees top and bottom heat.
Then mix the spelt flour with the baking cocoa. Carefully sift this mixture in portions onto the egg-sugar mixture and fold in. Now spread the sponge batter evenly onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake on the middle shelf for 8-9 minutes. The sponge cake should not be too dry, otherwise it will not roll up easily.
After baking, turn the sponge cake out directly onto a clean tea towel, remove the baking paper, turn the warm baking tray upside down and leave to cool.
Preparation of the cream:
Briefly heat the raspberries with 5 tsp of sugar and pass through a sieve to remove the seeds.Soak 2 sheets of gelatine, melt in a pan and add to the raspberry mousse.
Let the raspberry mousse cool down to room temperature .
Whisk the skyr with the powdered sugar until creamy and fold in the raspberry mousse.
Now whip the cream with cream stabilizer until stiff and carefully fold it into the raspberry and skyr mixture.
Preparation of the topping & drip:
Melt the chocolate chips in a tall glass.Dip the cookies halfway into the melted chocolate and drape them around the outside of the cake.
Let the drip run down the side of the cake with a spoon.
Finally, decorate with fresh raspberries and pralines and chill until ready to serve.
Assembling the cake
Now cut the sponge cake into strips. The width of the strips depends on the height
according to the height of your baking frame.
Spread the cream on the first strip
and roll up into a scroll.
Spread the other strips as well
and lay them out again and again.
Finally, place the baking frame around the strips
and use it to secure the cake.
Spread the rest of the cream on top of the cake
and smooth it out evenly.
Now place in the fridge overnight.

A little craft for Mother's Day

You will need the following:
Colored paper, plate, pencil, scissors, ruler & glue
Crafting instructions:
Place the plate on the colored paper and trace the outline with a pencil. Our plate for the large hearts has a diameter of 19 cm, for the small hearts we had a plate with a diameter of 13 cm.
Draw a line at the top and bottom to flatten the circle and then cut it out, at about 2 cm for the larger plate and about 1.5 cm for the smaller plate.
Fold outwards from the center at even intervals.
We folded the larger plate at intervals of approx. 1 cm and the smaller plate at intervals of approx. 0.5 cm.
Now fold in the middle to form a heart, glue together at the seam and you're done!
