Our new 'cherry charm' is out now!
A masterfully handcrafted homage to our local fruit, which, with its shiny red twin shapeand sunny aroma, is almost symbolizes the season of abundance and warmth.
Too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry:
Like every year, there's a lot to say about the summer. But does that change anything..? Exactly.
That's why we have simply packed our favourite season into a new selection so that it's always ready to hand.
The result: Lauensteiner 'cherry charm'

Charming cherry creations
White cherry truffle, Amarena nougat with a whole Amarena cherry, cherry brandy truffle or Black Forest cherry truffle with white chocolate & pink filling, topped off with the dark Black Forest cherry truffle heart:You already knew that cherries are good to eat with us — and after the launch of this new selection, the proof is finally there in sweet form too.
Made with the highest quality ingredients in our manufactory in Upper Franconia and decorated by hand, the Lauensteiner 'cherry charm' will make the sun rise on your palate.
And if it does outside, just put it on ice and enjoy crisp and cool in the shade.
Some summers last forever
Because cherries can be processed so wonderfully, their enjoyment often lasts far beyond the summer — wether as jam or kirsch. For the latter, the Black Forest is famous. It is also the origin of the well-known cake, in which cherries and cherry brandy play a key role.
We at Lauenstein are also addicted to it and dedicate an exquisite chocolate to the grande dame of patisserie:
the Lauensteiner Filled chocolate bar 'Black Forest cherry'.

Confectionery knowledge to go:
Pralines — how and where to store them?
Pralines are small works of art that are made with great care. To ensure that you can enjoy our Lauenstein pralines to the full, it is important to store them correctly.
Here are some tips:
1. Cool, but not too cold
The ideal temperature is between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius. Avoid the fridge, as the humidity can affect the chocolates.
2. Store in a dry place
Moisture is the enemy of chocolates. Airtight packaging protects against moisture and foreign odors.
3. Store in the dark
Light can melt the chocolates. It is therefore best to store your chocolates in a dark place.
4. Enjoy freshness
Manufactured pralines and chocolates taste best within the first two to four weeks after purchase.
5. Be careful with temperature fluctuations
Strong temperature fluctuations can have a negative effect on the chocolates — so it's best to keep them in one place at all times and not alternate between warm and cold.
