The factory of the Lauenstein Confectionery is a special place. The fragrance of chocolate and precious spices fills the air. Master confectioners are working fully focused on their latest truffle and praline creations. Busy hands are manually decorating the shiny surface of the pralines with delicate patterns.

What is created here in the seclusion of the Franconian Forest is so much more than just a product made of chocolate. The smell alone awakens a multitude of nostalgic memories: of the childhood and the first little piece of melting chocolate in the mouth. A hint of nuts, just like in Grandma’s freshly baked cake. And these are joined by new, enticing nuances: Oriental, exotic, exciting scents.

There’s no other place in the world, where pralines and truffles can be made in such a choice quality, with such craftsmanship like here: in the enchanted atmosphere of the factory at the foot of Lauenstein Castle.
