Slow Food: All indulgence goes slowly.

Those, who appreciate chocolate as a sensual pleasure, are at the same time also admits to slow, conscious indulgence. And those, who are producing chocolate for those people of pleasure, feel obligated to the maxim of absolute quality production.

The Lauenstein Confectionery is thus also supporting member of the German Slow Food Movement. A worldwide association of conscious gourmets and mature consumers, who made it their task to nourish the culture of eating and drinking and to keep it alive.

Slow Food supports, for example, the traditional foodstuff craft and the preservation of the regional variety of flavours. Producers, dealers and consumers are brought in touch with each other, knowledge about the quality of foodstuffs is conveyed and this way, a transparent food market is created.
